"Marriage ends at death. Pictures are FOREVER."

- Pilar Holley

Colorado-based wedding and portrait photographer for fun, unique, and adventurous couples.

(I like the quiet, thoughtful, and chill folks too – promise.)

Hi! I’m Jo. I’m the best photographer in Colorado. Maybe even the WORLD. At least that’s what “they” say.

But for reals, people think that.

In all seriousness, I really love being a wedding photographer. Especially here in Colorado. There is no shortage of stunning scenery or fun and down-to-earth people to capture. I work my booty off to make sure you know how pumped I am to be a part of your day. I’m not shooting weddings to pass the time or to work towards what I really want to do with my life, I am DOING it already. Guys, how cool is it that marriage is still a thing? Think about it, it’s one of the few pillars of society that has been around since the beginning of human civilization. “The first recorded evidence of marriage ceremonies uniting one woman and one man dates from about 2350 B.C., in Mesopotamia. Over the next several hundred years, marriage evolved into a widespread institution embraced by the ancient Hebrews, Greeks, and Romans.” – The Week Yeah, rad. The definitions have evolved to be more inclusive, (yay!) but the idea stays the same; two people are crazy enough to tell the world that they like each other enough to hang out for the rest of their lives. Amazing. Also job security for photographers!
